Posters were sent all around campus... I wanted people to be sold by the image of this guy sitting at a desk operating a computer atop a desk with books for columns. This just seems ridiculous to me. The image was pulled from a Sudden Link advertisement for new internet services. 

Here's the set-up... I tried to mock the advertisement

This is what the station looked like when unattended... people could walk by and hear the phone ringing and people talking (actually, this part of the project didn't work... I had to be in attendance to answer the call, otherwise it would go straight to voicemail and go quiet)

I only sat at the station for a few hours. During that time I was "pied" by the Anti Public Art team. 

Here's me answering calls and playing-back voicemails. Note the white Cool Whip on my back...
